It's the weekend of the annual Founding Festival and the whole town has turned out to celebrate. But what looks like innocent fun soon turns into a police investigation, since someone has poisoned the pies for the pie-tasting competition. Now, Ellen feels compelled to find the culprit, but when the police make an arrest, she can't help but wonder if they got the wrong man.
