If you wanted more options for your GU10 light fixture without needing to replace the whole thing, Luckily, these are extremely cheap and fit all standard, medium base light bulbs like everyone already uses in their house. Right now with the price being at $8 for three adapters, it was the top choice you have found. They are made of plastic, and its cheap feeling at that, but this has not degraded its performance at all. You can use almost any single light buld in this, but don't start adding a whole bunch of adapters to it for more light unless you use low wattage incandescent bulbs, CFLs, or LED lights. Its does extend your bulb out and inch and a half or so since thats just how the adapter works, so the bulb will protrude a little more than if it was installed in a standard base. If you have a GU10 fixture and would like more options and easier to find bulbs, this is for you. This is a great buy.


This is a solid little adapter that allowed you to take the same GU10-base LED lamps you are using around the perimeter of the house and put them in an exterior-mounted up/down sconce fixture with typical medium-base (E26/27) lamp sockets. Serrations on the ceramic make it easy to grasp and screw into place and it holds the lamp securely once properly seated. A solid unit that allows you to use lower-wattage GU10 lamps in a typical medium base to achieve a really dialed-down look without using a dimmer.


GU10 LEDs are too expensive and put out minimal light. This adapter allows you to use medium base bulbs (LED, incandescent, CFL). It works well, you can keep all of your fixtures without spending a lot of money on bulbs that are too dim anyway!
