What's the Pushbutton Switch:
This is a perfect choice if you are in need of a rugged push button! These metal push buttons are a very tough, small, panel-mount latching switch with an illuminated red LED ring. It is a 1NO switch with 16mm threading and 1mm pitch. This button is perfect for basic On/Off functions. Overall length (including leads) is 1.2" and has small solder lugs for connection. These latched buttons are rated up to 2A and 220VAC while the LED is rated for 5-12V.

What's the Latching Switch:
Latching switch, push it down, it stays down and latched in the closed position, press the button again and it releases and "unlatches".

What's the Latching Switch Used for:
Most often latching switches are used for various additional electric equipment inside & outside the car.(Such as critical lights, chassis lamp, fog lamps, dome light)

What's Note:
* These switches come with a rubber O-ring which makes them splash resistant but they can NOT be submerged in the water.
* The project and application you are going to be used for,don't let current go above 2 amps.Or the switch will get warm and to be burned out.
