- MADE OF HIGH QUALITY MATERIALS: a rigid frame will not allow the panel to bend over time, and even in five years the fixture will look exactly the same as the day it was installed. DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EDGE-LIT AND DIRECT-LIT PANELS (both are offered on Amazon): edge-lit panels have a smooth lens uniformly lit all over the surface, direct-lit panels have a prismatic lens and rows of LEDs instead of bulbs, looks like a regular fluorescent troffer.
- EASY TO INSTALL: standard application is T-Grid, all accessories are included. The fixture can also be mounted into sheetrock (flush mount) with an ASD sheetrock flush mount frame (should be bought separately).
- MEETS USA QUALITY REQUIREMENTS, ELIGIBLE FOR REBATES, UL LISTED AND DLC CERTIFIED. UL listing means that product was tested in US authorized facilities and fully complies with UL electrical code. Ideal for both residential and commercial installations. - FULLY DIMMABLE: high quality driver provides smooth 5-100% dimming (opposed to step dimming suggested for lower quality drivers that allows only a few dimming options (e.g. 25%-50%-75%-100%). The product uses a low-voltage 0-10V dimmer (manufacturer tested dimmers include: Lutron NFTV, Leviton IPL710 DLZ, Leviton IPL710 DL, Cooper SF10P-W). Please note: dimming is optional, if this feature is not required the dimming wires can simply be capped off and the light will function on/off.
