Troubleshooting Steps:

To install batteries flip remote over, grip remote firmly and slide back towards green Xbox button, remove back and put fresh batteries in to remote, small arrow on remote back must point towards bottom of remote to close
Prior to use please install two new AAA batteries (not included), do not mix battery brands
Remote is compatible with Xbox One series of consoles only and will not work with Xbox 360 or original Xbox consoles
Not all applications support remote features, please check application remote support prior to purchase
Clear line of sight to console required for remote to work, remote signal will not reach console if it is behind glass or other items
Remote has a maximum effective range of eight feet
