Heavy-Duty INOX-II Stainless Steel Vietnamese single-cup brewer (called a Phin), 4-part filter/brewer with instructions for making traditional Cafe Sua Da. This filter meets the requests we have received for a high-volume brewer, with a 15-ounce capacity, and a net volume of about 14 ounces after some absorption of water by the coffee grounds. Grade 2 extra-strong stainless steel lasts a lifetime and is easy to clean. The "gravity insert" does not require adjustment while brewing and is simpler and easier to use than the traditional screw-down insert. Please note: The design (height/width ratio) of this phin is created for optimal brewing of large quantities, and the base is wider than average mugs. For safe use to avoid spilling while brewing, you need a mug or pot of minimum width at the top of 3.25" (83 mm). You can also brew into a wider container then pour coffee into your mug. This is the size of filter to brew large travel mug portions in one step. Brew time about 6 minutes. Dimensions: Spanner is 4.6" wide, sits inside a mug with minimum interior width of 3.25"; chamber is 3.25" high and 3.5" wide.
