The handles are large and comfortable, so it's easy to get good leverage to put this in the sand. The auger is large and thick, so no worries about it breaking or not holding,
this thing is rugged. You can use it with a pretty big umbrella, and as stated, it worked flawlessly. The tension screw is also large and durable making it easy to get a good hold to really tighten it up
