This TB240S is a new machine that we have brought in to meet the need for an affordable, and universal thermal binder suitable for general home and office use. Like our higher capacity TB500, this machine was specifically made to work with a wide range of thermal covers. Three time cycles offer the control needed to get the right glue viscosity so the adhesive can properly wick into the pages. Unlike other lower priced machines, there are no spring loaded clamps that interfere with Unibind Softcovers. The machine can bind 180 sheets with a hard cover, and up to 220 sheets of 20lb paper with soft covers. The TB240S shuts off automatically after each cycle and resets the timing when a new cover is put in so there is no danger of overcooking the covers. we think this is the best value in it's class.
