Blue Boar Tungsten Carbide Grit Recessed Lighting Hole Saw 4-3/8" is perfect for installing most 4-inch recessed light cans in ceilings and soffits.

The hole saw has a hard tungsten Carbide grit that provides longer life in tough, abrasive materials. Continuous cutting edge provides a smooth cut and does not catch on wood or metal lath and plaster.

The open back design makes it fast and easy to remove the cut plug and start the next cutting the next hole. --This hole saw works perfectly with recessed lights (incandescent, halogen, and LED) made by Capri, Halo, Juno, Marco, Lithonia, Progress, Lightolier, Pathway & Thomas, and others light cans that require a 4-3/8" opening.

The 1-inch cutting depth will cut through the thickest drywall, stucco, and plaster, and provides clearance so the carbide grit

Attaches to standard 5/8"-18thread hole saw arbor adapters made for 1-3/8" and larger hole saws including the Blue Boar Heavy Duty 7/16" shank dual arbor and mandrel kit HP1597

Alternatively, the Blue Boar tungsten carbide grit recessed light hole saw can also be used with the Hole Pro XL Shield & Arbor adapter kit (HP1168-71) or Hole Pro X-230+ Adjustable Hole Cutter (HP1180) for 100% dust containment and cutting depth control.
