We love dogs - and we want to make sure that they wake up every day feeling happy, healthy, and looking beautiful. Unfortunately, many Maltese', Shih Tsus, Chihuahuas, Poodles, Boxers, Bichon Frises, and other dogs with white fur suffer from stains caused by mucus around the eye. These stubborn and unsightly marks are uncomfortable and just plain embarrassing.

We have found that one of the most effective ways to combat tear stains is to regularly comb the area around your dog's eyes with a high quality fine-tooth comb. By doing this on a regular basis, you will find that the mucus and crust that forms is removed and no new stains form.

If your dog has had tear stains for a long time, there will be permanently dyed fur that will need to grow out and be trimmed off. Continued use will prevent new tear stains from appearing.
