This power supply is specifically designed for single board computers such as the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+, Libre Computer Boards, ASUS Tinkerboard S, ODROID-C2, and more.
It compensates for the voltage drop across the power protection circuit on the Raspberry Pi 3 while remaining USB spec compliant for safe powering of other devices. It delivers no more than 5.25V at minimum load while staying above 4.85V at its maximum rated current of 2.5A. It can satisfy burst loads of up to 3A for consistent and reliable power.
It features overtemperature protection and will safely turn off if internal temperatures exceeds a safe threshold.
