Prince: Memoir and Demise
Before his death, Prince was reported to be working on his memoir under the title The Beautiful Ones. The memoir was expected to be released in the year 2017. His brother was helping him write his memoir. On the 21st of April, 2016, Prince was discovered to be dead at his Paisley Park residence in Minnesota. Earlier that week, Prince had been reported to be suffering from a severe case of influenza and his plane had had to land on an emergency basis. Prince was subsequently hospitalized. There have also been reports by TMZ of Prince having overdosed on Percocet prescribed to him considerably earlier for a hip related problem. An investigation has commenced to find out the cause of death. Once the autopsy had been performed, the remains of the now deceased singer were cremated and his close ones paid their respects on the 23rd of April in a private funeral. Fans, colleagues and others all over the planet have offered their tributes to Prince in different ways. Some of the artists that wrote in-depth tribute messages and expressed their deep sorrow included the likes of Madonna, Justin Timberlake, etc. With the death of Prince, an era of pop, funk and rock has kissed the world goodbye.
