24 tips for 1/4" wide galvanized steel wire spiral boning, for use with continuous rolls of boning, or to to shorten a few pre-cut bones. These tips keep the new-cut ends smooth inside the garment. They take a bit of practice to put on, but once you get the hang of it it's easy. We find it works best to use one set of pliers to squeeze the tip in the wider direction so it's exactly the width of the bone and no more, then set it on to the bone, and grab two sets of pliers. Use one set of pliers to keep the wide direction from opening up while you crimp the center of the tip with the other set of pliers.
