American & Republic Records will be releasing The Avett Brothers True Sadness , featuring debut single Ain t No Man . Following the immense success of previously released The Carpenter , which hit #4 on the Billboard Top 200, this upcoming album was inspired by a wide array of artists including Queen, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, Jimmie Rodgers, Tom Petty, Nine Inch Nails, Gillian Welch, Aretha Franklin and Walt Disney. The band is embarking on a full US tour this summer hitting all major markets from April to September, ending the tour with 3 nights at Red Rocks Amphitheater in CO.
