Synthetic nitrile rubber is resistant to oil, fuel, and other chemicals and the 6 mil provides even more resistance than regular 4 mil gloves. In addition, the extra thickness has better tear and puncture resistance than thinner gloves, making it safer to use. The fingertips are lightly textured for better gripping.
