It is housed in an attractive scratch and fade resistant aircraft grade aluminum casing. It has three modes - high - low - Strobe - just hit the button again to go to the next mode. The adjustable beam focus is controlled by pulling the head for area, spot, and flood lighting - the beam distance of the flashlight is up to 500!

The light is powered by a solid state white CREE LED which will last over 100,000 hours! Be careful not to look directly into the light as at 2000 lumen (max) it is incredibly bright (about 400% higher than 9 small LED flashlights)!
