A highly conductive prefabricated 164 ft fence with 10 horizontal twines (9 conductive); is 42" tall installed and has large white plastic vertical struts every 12 inches. Plastic strut verticals promote less fence sagging versus string verticals and are less likely to tangle and bunch when installing and removing the fence. The black and white colors provide 24/7 visibility to both humans and animals against light and dark backgrounds. ElectroStop includes a tinned copper conductor, which makes the fence 10 times more conductive than fences with only stainless steel conductors. It has 38 ohms of resistance per 1,000 feet, as compared to 380 ohms of resistance on fences with only stainless steel conductors. This allows multiple rolls of netting to be connected together and electrified effectively. Important to perform routine vegetation maintenance to minimize grass/weed load on the fence and PVC posts(.60" diameter)are built into the mesh every 12.5' with 6" double spike at the bottom that insert into the ground. Used to keep sheep, goats, guard dogs in while keeping out stray dogs and coyotes. Also used to keep bear away from bee hives. Suitable for cattle. Not designed for use with poultry. Recommend using additional support posts at ends and corners, such as Premier's 42" FiberTuff posts (Item 208054) found on Amazon. Acceptable levels of electric conductivity on the fence can be difficult when low soil moisture conditions are present. If dry soil conditions occur frequently, a Pos/Neg (P/N) version of netting fence is strongly advised. FENCE MUST BE PROPERLY ENERGIZED TO BE EFFECTIVE. Energizer is not included. Recommend approximately .25 joule of energizer per roll of fence. Use only low or wide impedance intermittent pulse energizers. Warning! Do NOT use continuous current energizers with electric netting. For optimum results, we recommend using a Premier Solar or AC/DC energizer that fits your specific needs.
