Cut the watermelon into two even pieces

Place the hand palm around the corer handle to secure a good grip, and move the corer right above the watermelon pulp so that the sharpened edges are facing the red flesh

Insert the corer in the watermelon pulp where the flesh meets the skin and start slicing. Apply gentle force and aim for a smooth movement along the watermelon's curvature

When the slicing process is completed, turn the corer over and insert it again in the pulp (aim at the center of the slices) to remove the pieces. Grab the slices, wiggle them a bit (as this helps the removing process) until they are cut off, and remove them to a serving fruit container or bowl. Time to enjoy tasty watermelon!
