These 13-inch steel footboard attachment brackets bolt on to most rail-frame beds of any size. Simply bolt the extenders onto the frame using the existing holes, and attach the footboard using the pre-drilled holes (note: you may need to drill 1/4" holes if your footboard does not come with them).
