Our vintage journal is made in the USA from 100% full-grain cow leather and is perfect for everything - work, school or home. It is particularly good for travel, as the sturdy leather cover won't rip or bend in your bag. Each piece is individually handcrafted and is a unique one-off item, no two will be exactly the same. The notebook cover will get better and softer over time the more it's handled.

LEATHER
We use Horween Dublin Leather for this journal covers which is the full-grain leather with a very nice pull-up effect. The full-grain leather has its surface left completely intact, showing all natural characteristics of the hide. The pull-up is the temporary lightening of certain leathers when folded. This is caused by displacing oil and waxes.
Every piece of leather is different from hide to hide, it may have scars and other imperfections of the animal (it is the feature of the full-grain leather). The leather has distressed look and may scratch with time.
