Printing Instructions

PolyMax can be printed under similar conditions as PolyPlus and most other PLA filaments.

PolyMax works well with all common printing surfaces such as the blue tape, Kapton tape, glass, BuildTak etc. Heated build plate (HBP) is not required but can be used.

All PolyMax filaments have been properly dried before packaging and shipping. It is recommended that the filament, when not used, be stored in the provided resealable bag with the desiccant pack to minimize moisture absorption and to ensure the best printing performance.

  • A patented Jam-Free technology dramatically improves the stability of our PLA filaments, by combining the latest development in biopolymer formulation and advanced polymer processing technologies
  • Regular PLA is a very brittle material, which greatly limits its range of applications. Featuring increased impact strength of up to 9 times that of regular PLA and 20% better than ABS.
  • With PolyMax PLA you can get rid of that potentially hazardous ABS and still achieve the same structural strength with even more benefits such better printer compatibility.
  • Easier printing, less warping, no hazardous odours, and in many cases even better mechanical properties.
