This beautiful Official First Day Cover (FDC) features original images of actor James Doohan as Montgomery "Scotty" Scott, chief engineer aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise. It is postmarked (cancelled) in Doohan's hometown of Vancouver, British Columbia, with an image of the famous communicator that Kirk, Spock and many others used to call the Enterprise, often with a request for Scotty to "beam" them up just in the nick of time!
