This XSPC ball valve with the female G1/4” port is ideal for use as a drain valve. Every once in a while youâ€re going to have to clean out your water cooling loop or put in new coolant. Bacteria inevitably grow in the system and coolant becomes less effective over time. This job is a lot more complicated if there is no dedicated place to drain the liquid. Unhooking a clamp or pulling on the tubing can cause liquid, however small, to fall onto your components and short it.
