AD Surgical UNIFY Surgical Nylon sutures. Each box contains 12 individually sterilized foil packs of sutures and one instruction sheet. The suture is sterilized with ethylene oxide (EO) gas and normally will have 1-3 years of shelf life. Unify Nylon surgical sutures are non-absorbable, sterile, flexible thread prepared from long-chain aliphatic polymers Nylon 6 and Nylon 6,6 and is indicated for use in Soft tissue approximation. Unify Nylon suture is indicated for use in general Soft tissue approximation and/or ligation, including use in cardiovascular, ophthalmic, and neurological procedures. As with any non-absorbable Nylon suture, progressive hydrolysis of the suture in tissue may result in gradual loss of tensile strength over time. Nylon suture should not be used where permanent retention of tensile strength is required.
