The straw style has a Retaining Ridge on the end of the straw to keep the straw from falling out of the cup. PLEASE NOTE: The ridge end goes inside the cup, please insert the straw from underneath the lid with the lid removed from the cup. When the straw is through the cup, then put the cup lid back into place.
