When Cooper Glenn’s only veterinarian retires and sells his practice, employee and animal-lover Lori Branton is mortified to discover its new owner is Mitchell ‘Mitch’ Smith, a high school classmate to whom she wasn’t very kind when they were kids. Lori has worked hard to overcome her mean-girl image and decides it’s best for all involved that she quit her job. Mitch has other ideas and asks her to stay on at the clinic.
