Transplanted Philadelphia native Unlucky Lizzy loves her new job and life in Sinful, Louisiana, with her new best friends, Fortune, Gertie and Ida Belle. But the good times come under threat when a strange woman warns Lizzy to stay away from Fortune, claiming Fortune is a witch who’s attracting evil spirits to the town.

When sightings of lurkers and a string of thefts cause townsfolk to point fingers at Fortune, Ida Belle and Gertie spring into action. Fearing the ugly gossip about Fortune will cause gullible Sinful residents to go on a witch-hunt, the trio race to find out who’s really responsible for the incidents.

With Lizzy tagging behind, even though she’s been warned not to, the gang soon find out the truth behind the strange happenings is a lot scarier than the rumors of witches and evil spirits.
