- Set two pieces of the fabric, one on top and the other on the bottom of the guide of presser foot. It gathers the fabric on the bottom while sewing both together in one operation.
- 1. Set the machine setting: 3/4 thread overlock, stitch length to 3 mm, stitch width to 2 mm from 5 mm, and differential ratio to 1 from 2. 2. Place the bottom fabric (the fabric will be gathered) under the guide on the front of the gather foot. 3. Place the top fabric (the fabric will not be gathered) between the guide and the foot. 4. Sew while keeping the fabrics aligned.
