place. It was the most interesting, entertaining, and scary encounter he had

had in a very long time. He had heard about humans a few years back. They

did not do well as slaves, and based on legislation a few years ago, they were

considered an exotic animal that was not to be brought to the planet.


The real question was how did a human end up at his planet? And more importantly, why does Mia matter more to him than just a warrior’s prize?
