Bouquet holder has Styrofoam inside in the cage and that is the correct type of foam for feathers and artificial flowers. This particular item can not be used for live flowers as it does not absorb water. It works much better for feathers in Eiffel Tower vases and silk flower pieces verses the green wet foam bouquet holders. The clear handle also makes it much less visible.
