Instructions to insert bit/rod into shaft:

1. Remove the silver round cap from shaft to expose three prongs inside the cap
2. Hold down the button on shaft to open the prongs
3. Stick your desired bit/rod (with cap) to the center of the prongs. Bit/rod should fit in comfortably.
4. Release the center button and twist the cap back on. Bit/rod should be tight now.
5. Use the speed dial to power on and adjust rotational pace for your convenience.
