The Ruffwear Polar Trex dog boots are designed for warmth, traction, and protection in winter conditions. Insulated upper softshell fabric creates breathable, weatherproof warmth in extreme cold and inclement weather. Ruffwear-designed Vibram outsole provides optimum traction on frozen surfaces. Closure system combines hook-and-loop with hardware, cinching around the narrowest part of the dog's leg to provide a secure fit. Pullover stretch gaiter keeps snow out and improves retention by protecting the hook-and-loop ankle closure from the elements. Just as you would with your gear, adjust fit and check tension of boots 15 minutes into your activity and throughout the adventure as needed. Polar Trex Boots are sold in sets of four and are available in eight sizes. Select the correct size based on your dog's paw width (measure across the widest part of the dog's paw when bearing weight). 1.5 in (38 mm); 1.75 in (44 mm); 2.0 in (51 mm); 2.25 in (57 mm); 2.5 in (64 mm); 2.75 in (70 mm); 3.0 in (76 mm); 3.25 in (83 mm). For in between sizes, choose the smallest size. Washing instructions: Secure the fasteners; wash in cold water on gentle cycle with mild detergent; air dry.
