After losing her parents as a baby, Rachel Williams finds her place in the Baker family as one of their own. Wanting to start a family of her own Rachel decides to accept the written proposal of Jason Pratt, a young wealthy farmer who wants to settle down as well.

Rachel decides to head off and finally meet her future husband face to face. It is then that a sudden turn of events takes place and Rachel finds herself in the confusing woes of commitment versus true love….or at least she thinks it is true love.
