1. Phone connected to camera
The camera has AP hotspot function, which means it can emit wifi signals by itself. Users need to make their phones connect to camera's WIFI.
If you can't connect or search the WIFI, please reset the camera firstly.
Second, user's phones need to be installed the app NETCAM, you can scan the bar code in the instruction or search google play or apple app store to download.
Third, plug the camera and wait few seconds until it tells you that is ready to use. Once you do that, you will change your phone's regular WIFI setting to the XDL...one (different devices have different wifi names, normally with "X" starting). Just go to the setting directly and connect camera's wifi. Once you do that, please go back to the NETCAM app and add the device then go to search for LAN. In case it asks you for a password it is 0123456789. Follow all steps, the phone can be connected to camera successfully.
Remember: app works only when the phones are connected with the camera.
2. The camera is not powering on.
This camera has no built-in battery, you need to use the camera by connecting USB cable.
3. Phone disconnected with camera
A typical wireless router in an indoor point-to-multipoint arrangement using 802.11n and a stock antenna might have a range of 32 metres (105 ft). But this camera is not a router, the range of this product is 20 meters (65 ft). If above this range, the following situations users may meet: phone disconnected from time to time, the image on app is not smooth.
FYI, when the phone is disconnected, the camera can still work and record and storage the image file in TF card.
