- This cord is NOT a Western Electric red (out of production). It is a cherry red. We can not guarantee a color match. It is a Cablesys red handset cord. This cord is not a perfect color match but is the only one in production. It will work on any trimline where the cord "clips" into place. Some of the ones over 30 years old had a special connector that required a tool to install. This cord won't work on the old version.
- A high quality cord, made in China, with gold plated contacts. Relaxed the curly part of this cord is about 40 inches long, NOT 25 FEET. It is called a 25 foot cord because 25 feet of material goes into the curling machine. This naming scheme is confusing but it's the standard.
- NOTICE THE PICTURES of this cord; The trimline shown is not an AT&T model, it is made by Golden Eagle; It works on nearly any phone made in the last 30+ years. It uses the standard 4P4C (4 pin 4 conductor) connector which is also called RJ9, RJ10 & RJ22. Do not use it between the phone and the wall jack. The wall jack is 6 or 8 pins wide. It would provide a loose, noisy connection.Each end of the cord has approximately 1" with no curl.

- 25 foot cords (of any make) are not well suited for desk phones; If you put one on a desk phone be sure to faithfully hang the cord over the side of the desk or it will tangle; Our cords are no different than any others when it comes to tangling
