Note: Each use may require a different set-up, depending on what animal you wish to repel. For example, for dogs, unit has to be set up for the frequency of cats/dogs, placed at the same height level as the dog's ears so the ultrasonic wave can be heard by the dog. For birds, it requires a different frequency, which is audible and louder.
