* If you are planning to sharpen mostly colored pencils, we advise you to sharpen one regular graphite pencil for about every 10 colored pencils. The graphite will help naturally lubricate the blade, ensuring longer life and better performance. Please do not attempt to sharpen oil-based or grease pencils as these may damage the unit.
