Product Review
With it's very stark contrasty double red flowers, Victoire de la Marne is profusely fragrant and makes for an excellent cut flower (as most peonies do). A relatively low maintenance perennial, it's always best to cut back in late fall and preparation for the winter. Not particularly attractive to deer as they will likely leave this variety alone. Will reach approximately 24" tall as a plant but will extend up to 3' when in full bloom. Not a fast grower, but a long lasting plant that could produce for up to 50 years!
