Our range of deployment buckles (aka ¡§double-locking clasp,¡¨ or ¡§hidden deployment buckle,¡¨ or ¡§butterfly clasp¡¨) are ideal for those who take their watch off and on regularly - with a standard buckle the repeated pulling and bending of the watch band will reduce its service life - using a deployment buckle will remove much of the wear from the watch band.

Easily installed with a Spring Bar Jeweler Tool (ASIN: B00DMUOMEU) the buckle side of the strap is attached to the spring bar that is included with the deployment buckle. The adjustment side of the watch band is threaded through the adjustment side of the buckle, by lifting up the top of the retainer the band can pass through to the desired length, the band can be hooked on the small pillar and the top clipped down over the band to hold the correct length. Simply press the two sides together on the back of your wrist with the excess length of strap aimed at the retention loops on the buckle side of the band to close. When closed the deployment mechanism of the buckle is essentially invisible.
