Niche 1292 is a new high strength Front Drive Shaft. This is the shaft that fits between the Front Driveshaft and the engine and transfers power from the transmission to the front wheels. The OEM Shafts are known for wearing out due to sand and grit grinding away at the locking grooves. Niche Shafts and Joints are made out of forged then hardened chromoly and will outperform OEM Shafts. Our joints on the Shaft are ground and greased beyond Yamaha specs, to give your Drive Shaft the high strength reputation it has come to be known for.
