The MOVO SMM8 Shock Mount is a universal mount specially designed for the Zoom, Tascam, and other similar digital audio recorders to mitigate the effects that vibrations and handling noise can have on your recording. The new incredibly durable yet discreet, low-profile design is built to support microphones and recorders up to 4.4 lbs (2kg). The mount features a rubber pad and bearing plate set atop the shock mount to deliver unrivaled shock-absorbing capabilities.
The SMM8 will mount on any microphone or recorder with a ¼" thread and also attaches to most cameras via standard hot shoe or tripods via ¼" thread, or directly to a 3/8" boom-pole.
