In the early 1900's farmers brought the Melaleuca trees to South Florida to help dry out swamp land for agriculture because it absorbs a lot of water from the land. The tree flourished and is found all through the everglades. We found some fields primarily filled with Melaleuca and are very proud to bring this medicinal tee tree honey to you.
