This plant is very desirable where a quick-growing dark background is desirable. Provides a stunning backdrop for lighter colored plants. The leaves of this Colocasia start out as plum/maroon color and with age darken to a dark purple / black. Plant Height 36 - 48 inches. Soil Boggy, but well drained. Exposure Likes high filtered sunlight but, does reasonably well in 80% shade. Application Does well indoors, makes good interior plant. Light: 65%-73% shade, likes high light, but will do reasonably well in 80% shade. Zones 7b - 10You will be receiving 1 plant between 3 & 8 inches in a 3 inch deep pot.
