WireGarage GXL stranded automotive wire is designed for use in any electrical application where heat, chemical, and abrasion resistance is required. The smooth-finish insulation is made of chemically altered cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE), making it resistant to heat, abrasion, moisture, gasoline, oil, solvents, grease, and most acids. It is typically used in high temperature areas such as automobile engine compartments, and meets SAE J1128 standards.
