Two small areas in Oregon and Washington are going under a barrage of bank robberies by a lady bandit gang that kills a bank teller at each place they bob. The locals are stumped and call un U.S. Marshal Chance Thorn. Another robbery goes down and a teller and one of the robbers are killed. He has no names, little descriptions for the gang, and almost nothing to work with. Can he solve the mystery of he lady bank robber or will it be his first defeat?
