These one-way barrel nuts are constructed of steel and come in a chrome plated finish. They feature a tamper-proof head which prevents them from being loosened or removed once installed. These fasteners are manufactured with #10-24 threads and have a reach of 5/8 inches, with a 1/4 in. shaft outside diameter, and a 7/16 in. head diameter. One-way barrel fasteners like these are commonly used with one-way shoulder screws in commercial restroom applications. Installation of these types of security fasteners requires only the use of a (flat head) slotted screwdriver, while the removal of these fasteners requires a one-way screw remover tool.
