A very classic Spanish dessert, Membrillo is a paste made of quince, a very tart Spanish fruit. The paste is dense, solid and sugary, so you can cut it easily with a knife. Served typically sliced with a slice of Manchego to contrast and bring out the flavors of the cheese.
