One of the greatest commandments of the Sukkat Holiday, is the waving of the four species. The four species, Arba'at Haminim, consist of the Lulav, Hadass, Aravah and Etrog. A lulav is a slim palm branch, and an etrog is a citron that looks mostly like a malformed lemon. The other two species, Hadasim and Aravot, are the branches of Myrtle and Weeping Willow trees. The branches and fruit are waved each day Sukkot, except on Shabbat, in a specific manner and a prayer is recited.
