Franklin, better known as ‘Mookie’ in the streets, has moved to Houston after tragically losing his girlfriend and baby. For over a year he stays clear and free of a relationship. That is until Camari comes along. She is able to open up his heart, and in return, he gives her everything she desires. But, as in most situations, it is only so long before trouble arises.

Now Franklin’s right hand man Kent, who is known as a ladies man, is on the prowl and manages to sink his claws into Camari’s best friend Cherish. He is looking for something special and it finds it in her. His only flaw is his past which quickly catches up to him.
