Simplicity's retro special occasion dress from the 1950's includes redingote with gathered full skirt, fitted bodice, Peter pan collar, short kimono sleeves with narrow cuffs, self-fabric bow-ties that trim the bodice front and a narrow shoulder strap dress with low decolletage and full gathered skirt.
